This position works 3 to 4 days a week, subject to the roster and the contract period until 31 July 2024.

S/He directly reports to the Project Coordinator. As a part of the Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan Programme unit, s/he is also required to support the team members in the unit and communicate with service users. His/er major job duties are as follows:


Responsibilities::
– Act as a key contact point responsible for liaising with Ethnic Minority students.
– Provide administrative support to the project operation.
– Prepare project materials for targeted groups in their language(s), e.g., Nepali, Urdu, Bahasa, Hindi.
– Provide simple interpretation and translation service to service users.
– Assist in consolidating project experience and disseminate good practices with other networks of NGOs, schools, and educational groups.
– Undertake other related tasks as requested.

Requirements:
– Diploma or above in any discipline; preferably with two years of relevant experience.
– Good command of spoken and written English and other languages such as Nepali, Urdu, Bahasa, Hindi.
– Able to speak and write Chinese is preferred.
– Cultural sensitivity for different cultures and religions.
– Good interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, enthusiastic, highly motivated, and outgoing.
– Strong problem-solving and ability to be flexible.
– Proficient in MS Office applications. Experience with design and editing software such as Illustrator, video editing is a plus
– Familiar with networks in NGOs and schools is a plus
– Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must
