Project Officer II (1-year Contract, renewable)

The Project Officer is responsible for the externally funded project “Project Extension on Empowering EM Youth for Employment – Early Childhood Care and Education for Non-Chinese Speaking Learners”.
Responsibilities:
• Execute the day-to-day implementation of the project, ensure the funded project outputs and outcomes are met.
• Manage and monitor the delivery of training, internship and career matching service of the project.
• Promote the project with various online and offline platforms so as to build good network with employers and recruit required number of trainees.
• Act as a key contact point responsible for liaising with schools and parents.
• Assist in preparing reports, funding proposal, presentation deck as required.
• Others assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
• Degree holder with 3 years’ relevant experience in vocational training/ ERB course management experience is preferred.
• Solid experience in project management and organization skills with great attention to details.
• Experience in training course management, especially in qualification framework development would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ethnic minority poverty and education issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, enthusiastic, highly motivated and outgoing personality.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and multi-task, meet tight deadlines and be a good team player.
• Shift duty and able to work on Saturdays as required.
• Good communications skills in both English and Chinese.
• Proficient in computer literacy and applications including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Identification with Oxfam’s mission, vision and core values is a must.
